I want to welcome all of the newcomers to the newsletter. I hope you enjoy this new journey and learn to love it. I appreciate you choosing me as your musical concierge. A long time ago, our ancestors were in tribes and had villages. Each village had its healers or medicine man. The healing always had music. This healer would have to be knowledgeable in music. He would have to lead the musical entertainment and even knew how to make instruments of the time. I created this newsletter because I now have a tribe. A large tribe that I influence. Also, you don’t have to be a musician to get these benefits of the power of music. The healing powers of music. Being a steward of the music community is just as important a role as a musician. Some people are patrons of music. Patronage has existed since the days of Plato and Socrates. Very successful people would help these individuals create by financing their works. To me, this is just as important to the music community. The term music community can be a living thing. It is real. So real that people can make a living from it. I definitely signed up for this role, and I aim to take it seriously. I am starting with communication and education.

Dear parents, I have nearly doubled the number of students since last summer. This is a great problem to have. But it does put me in a pinch when it comes to text messaging and my response time. I have a list of emails, calls, and text messages coming through, and I try to get to the next person as soon as I can. I know some communications are more urgent than others, so I will definitely try to prioritize as best I can. If I forgot to deliver an assignment, that is a priority; please text me as soon as possible so I can send it. I appreciate all of you and working with me to try to make a better system to serve you all.
Hello parents, I will be taking a vacation from July 24th to August 2nd. There are 5 Wednesdays and Thursdays in that month, so we will still get our four guaranteed lessons. But there are only three Mondays and Tuesdays in the month, so I will be doing 5 Mondays and Tuesdays in June to make up for the last Monday and Tuesday of the month. Please let me know if you have questions.
Future- in advance I will be taking off August 31st because it is the 5th Monday in the month.
